Float like a butterfly, sting like a future queen! Kate Middleton tried her hand at boxing on May 16, and the normally dainty Duchess surprised everyone with her ability to strike. Watch a video of her right hook right here!
Kate Middleton can apparently put up a pretty good fight! While the 34-year-old Duchess attended a charity event in London on May 16, she put on a pair of boxing gloves and tried out the sport — and actually ended up being pretty awesome at it. Maybe she’s found her newest hobby?
As Kate walked around the Heads Together campaign launch with her hubby, Prince William, and his brother, Prince Harry, a booth set up with a boxing instructor caught Kate’s eye. In no time, she put on a pair of bright red gloves, and off she went! After the instructor, Duke, helped Kate with her boxing skills at the Mind Charity’s stall, even he couldn’t help admitting that she was a natural at the sport. “She has a mean right hand!” he said at the event.
Although Kate put on an impressive first boxing performance, both Prince William and Prince Harry had no problem trying it out too. In fact, it wasn’t even Harry’s first time — and Duke declared that Harry is even tougher than Kate. But considering the Duchess is now a mom of two, we’re totally okay with her not being the best boxer! Watch her pack a punch below!
Even if Kate didn’t win best punch of the day, she certainly won the award for best dressed boxer! Looking flawless in a cream Goat “Binky” blouse and Banana Republic skirt, Kate was likely the most elegant boxer the sport has ever seen. Who knew someone could look so good during such an intense sport?!
